What IS permanent homes?

Permanent HOMES is our annual Halloween beer release and costume party at HOMES Campus! Permanent HOMES is also the name of the limited edition Halloween candy-inspired Stout released at the event. Stay tuned to our social media for more details!

TIMELINE of events

  • 12pm Main bar opens!

  • 4pm Stout station opens!

    • Vintage beers unearthed from deep within our cellar…

      • Doozie Coconut 2026: Imperial Stout aged 24 months in Two James, Wild Turkey, Weller, Blantons, and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels, blended with toasted coconut, almonds, hazelnut, vanilla bean, and cocoa.

      • Doozie Mallow 2026: Imperial Stout made in collaboration with Drafting Table Brewery; aged 13 months in Two James Rye, and Brown Forman barrels, rested on toasted hazelnut, marshmallow fluff, and Madagascar vanilla bean.

      • Permanent HOMES 2024: Heath Bar inspired Imperial Stout aged in Buffalo Trace, and Old Fitzgerald Bourbon barrels for 18 months, then blended with caramel, toasted almonds, and vanilla beans.

      • Permanent HOMES 2025: Cookies N’ Cream Bar inspired Imperial Stout aged in Weller, and Lone Light Bourbon barrels for 16 months, then aged on Oreos, vanilla bean, and Ghanaian cacao.

    • Enter our costume contest! We’ll call you up at 7pm to strut your stuff.

    • You can enter our contest between 5 and 7pm.

  • 5pm “Werewolf of Fever Swamp” (1996) Goosebumps episodes screening in the gallery!

    • Suitable for viewers 12+

  • 5 - 8pm DJ Strange Vice spins 80’s horror & Halloween-themed vinyl records

    • Songs featured on horror movie soundtracks & other spooky-sounding stuff

    • No requests, sorry!

  • 6pm Permanent HOMES bottle and can release!

  • 6:30pm “Wolfman” (1941) movie screening in the gallery!

    • Suitable for younger viewers

  • 7pm Costume contest begins!

    • We’ll make a call for our contestants to take a spin around the Beer Garden

    • After our contestants introduce themselves, a voting station will be set up with boxes that correspond to each contestant. All guests are encouraged to vote! Each voter will get two tickets to vote for best overall adult costume, and best overall kids costume.

  • 8pm “Monster Squad” (1987) movie screening in the gallery!

    • Rated PG-13

  • ~8pm Costume contest winners announced!

    • Attendees will vote for the winners!

    • Prize for best overall adult: $50 HOMES gift card, $25 Dozer Coffee gift card + an in-stock merch item of choice!

    • Prize for best overall kid: Goosebumps-themed prize pack + $10 Dozer Coffee gift card!

OTHER FUN STUFF & INFO

We’ll have pumpkin painting for the kids! Pumpkins available first come, first served. One pumpkin for kid, please.

Tarot card readings!

MOVIE RATINGS: The “Werewolf of Fever Swamp” Goosebumps episodes and “The Wolfman” are considered appropriate for younger viewers. “Monster Squad” is rated PG-13. There is restroom access that bypasses the gallery screen altogether should that be your preference: just enter through the main bar doors and keep right - pass the merch, down the hallway.

Food! We have it. Campo Pizza will be serving up its amazing Roman-style pizza menu.

Parking and transit: our main parking lots are at 112 Jackson Plaza - in the front to the right or left when you pull in, or follow the driveway right and around to the back of Campus for the main lot. There is overflow parking in the adjacent lot at 78 Jackson Plaza, and across the street at 175 Jackson Plaza. We highly recommend using ride share apps, or taking public transit - the #30 bus stops nearby on Jackson Rd.
